Well this certainly was a wedding I did not want to leave! I went home on such a high, cheeks sore from too much laughter and a full belly of the most amazing slow cooked meats!!

Al has not always been dealt the best hand in life, but his luck has certainly changed with his gorgeous wife Elly! These two are the epitome of what true love is! On the grounds of their incredible acreage property, they were joined as husband and wife in an intimate ceremony on the most glorious October afternoon. Elly’s grand entrance was one to rival them all, riding in on horseback to marry her prince charming! It was then off to Buxton train station for some photos, capturing their spellbinding connection in the golden afternoon light.

Friends and family traveled from all around to witness their nuptials and enjoy many fun filled festivities into the night. As the sun sank and the moon came up to play hide and seek from behind the clouds, we snuck away from the reception into the dark to capture some night time magic with my flash, incorporating the incredibly beautiful greenery lining their driveway. They also had a magnificent willow tree in the front paddock and a very attached fur baby who wanted to get in on the photoshoot action.

Congratulations to Al and Elly and thank you both so much for inviting me to capture so many wonderful moments for you on your wedding day!
