Our Sitter Sessions are perfect for babies aged between 6-8 months who are able to confidantly sit unasisted and can’t yet crawl. If you want to capture your baby at 6 months before they can sit up by themselves, parents can be included to assist your baby.

Cake smash sessions aim to document your baby’s milestone of turning ONE. They are celebrated by capturing all that personality and sweet little emotions they display. We start these sessions out with a clean portrait session, followed by all the messy fun as they tear into the cake, and we finish with a bubbly fun bath session in one of our vintage tubs.

If parents intend on being in the photos, it’s best to come dressed in neutral colours which work well together. You should steer clear of crazy bright colours, logo’s or image branded clothing, or mismatched patterns (e.g. one person in spots and another in stripes). Personally, I love soft neutrals if you have more of a plain simple style, or I adore bold earthy colours together such as navy blue with plum red and mustard colours. Have some fun with your outfits and if you are unsure, you can always send me some photos of your options and I’d be happy to advise you on what works best.

Ladies can select from one of our gowns available to wear and outfits are provided for your baby.

Studio sessions start at 10am, but we can work around your baby’s sleep schedule if they usually nap around that time. Sessions cannot start any later than midday. If you are running late, please text or call to let me know. 

I can completely understand being a little camera shy, but your connection with your baby is what’s being documented. I want you to forget about being photographed and turn your focus towards your baby’s sweet little features, or trying to make them giggle, or just showering them with cuddles and kisses. 

Due to space restrictions, we ask that only immediate family attend the session. This means only the baby with you the baby’s parent/s and any siblings the baby has that you would like to include.

If you or any of your family who will be attending the studio are sick, we reschedule. Even if I have the slightest hint of a cold, we’ll reschedule. It’s not worth taking any risks when small children and babies that young are involved. There is no fee to reschedule, provided that the rescheduled session takes place within 1 month from the original date.

Immediately after your session, I will download and backup your images securely. Around 2 weeks after your session, you will receive a link and password to access your private online image gallery. There you will be able to browse and select the images you would like to include in your package.. Once you have made your selection, a deposit of 25% of your order will be paid, with the remaining balance due prior to delivery. Payments can be split into smaller instalments if required. I then process the final edits on your images and order any prints you may have selected. The process can take anywhere from around 2 weeks for our digital base package, or up to 8 weeks if you select the entire gallery options. I promise you they’re worth the wait!

No, you receive only full resolution edited Jpeg files. RAW files are only readable through special photo editing software and are not part of the full service photography experience I pride myself on.

The level of professional editing invested into each and every image is done in a way to enhance what was captured and bring out the optimum colour and tone. For further high-end editing, an additional hourly rate is charged.
