Baby Lorelei — A Gentle, Dreamy Newborn Session in My Ingleburn Studio
Some sessions unfold with such quiet sweetness that the whole studio seems to exhale, and that’s exactly how it felt the morning baby Lorelei arrived in her parents’ arms. Just ten days new, she settled into the soft warmth of the studio as though she’d been here before — peaceful, content, and so deeply relaxed that she slept through every moment. There’s something incredibly special about photographing a baby who drifts so effortlessly from one moment to the next, their tiny breaths steady and their little features soft with that unmistakable newborn calm.
Seeing the Wymers again, now as a family of four, felt like stepping into the next chapter of a story we’d already begun together. Their maternity session was filled with tenderness and anticipation, and all of that emotion seemed to bloom even more fully now that their second baby girl was finally here. Mum and Dad moved with the same gentle ease as before, their hands instinctively supporting Lorelei, their expressions full of that quiet, overflowing love that comes with welcoming another child.
And then there was big sister — still sweet, still curious, and now proudly stepping into her new role. She watched over Lorelei with the softest affection, leaning in close, offering tiny touches, and bringing that beautiful sense of connection that makes newborn sessions feel so meaningful. These are the moments families hold onto: the early days when everything feels new and tender, when the world seems to slow just enough to take it all in.
Lorelei was an absolute dream from beginning to end. Her sleepy stillness, her delicate features, and the way she melted into every moment made the session feel calm, unhurried, and full of heart. Capturing this new chapter for the Wymer family was such a joy. Their warmth, their gentleness, and the love they share made the studio feel like the softest little cocoon — the perfect place to welcome their beautiful baby girl.
