Our leadup to this session had been thwarted by the forecast of rain and storms. I watched the radar like a hawk and we decided to go ahead and pray for good weather. Thankfully our prayers were answered and we were blessed with a rather spectacular sunset as the storms made their way North of us!
Their littlest man, Hudson was just one and they wanted to document this milestone with a session involving the whole family. It was delightful watching them soak in loads of love and laughter and I was so excited when they asked “who wants to play in the water”?! I love that they came prepared for some messy fun and with the expectation that they could express themselves without the usual sit-still-and-smile-at-the-camera routine. As a parent, I totally understand that kids weren’t designed for that!
